"After you pass all the hustle and bustle of a lot of restaurants called the same alluring name for tourists nicknamed juan I.e: juan Los mellizos. casa juan. juan carmona... I accidentally bumped into a shy restaurant just at the west end of Mar street called once again restaurant juan. I was really surprised for the quality of the dishes. the freshness of their shellfish. the kindness and professionality of the long experienced waiters. I strongly recommend the paella made with love and the best shellfish . it's a little bit pricy in comparison with the other low cost restaurants . but believe me that their paella is second to no one. congratulations Restaurante juan Mar street number 9. ;)"

"Had the best food here. The grilled sardines were exquisite and so was the paella. Lovely atmosphere, great value for money. I saw a review mentioning the difficulty in language from staff, my dear...you are in Spain, do some effort to learn the basic Spanish."

"Excellent traditional restaurant. Great starters - especially the ham, beans and egg - with very generous portions. And the paella Valenciana (for two but shared between 4) was among the tastiest that any of us had had. Very reasonable price: 3 starters, I paella, 2 bottles of wine, 1 large bottle and coffees afterwards: 115 euros between the 4 of us. Friendly and efficient service. Very happy to give top marks!"
